Just to make sure I've got this right — you're saying …, is that fair?
Let me play that back to you: …
So if I'm hearing you correctly, … — have I got that right?
I want to make sure I'm not misreading this: …
Can I just check my understanding? …
Could you give me a concrete example of what that would look like?
What would that look like in practice?
Can you walk me through a specific case?
Help me picture how that plays out.
Sorry, could you spell that for me?
I didn't quite catch that last part — could you repeat it?
Sorry, you said …?
Could you drop that in the chat?

That's a good question — let me think about that for a second.
Give me a moment to get my head around that.
Let me come back to you on that — I want to give you a proper answer.
I'd rather not answer that off the top of my head.
I don't have that number in front of me — let me check and get back to you by end of day.
I'm not across that detail — Sarah would know better than me.
Honestly, I'd be guessing. Let me confirm and follow up.
避免:"I think maybe…"

I'd like to push back on that a little — mainly because …
I see it slightly differently — …
I hear you, but I'm not sure that holds when …
Can I offer a different angle on this?
My one concern would be the timeline.
The thing I keep coming back to is …
What worries me slightly is …
I'm broadly on board — the only piece I'd question is …
I'm not fully convinced, but I'm happy to go with it and see how it lands.
Let's park that and come back to it. (park =
Happy to be overruled on this one.
I'll flag my reservation, but I won't block it.

I'm conscious of time — should we come back to the main point?
Just to bring us back — where did we land on …?
That's a good thread, but can we park it for now?
In the interest of time, shall we move on?
So what are the next steps, and who's owning each one?
Can we agree the actions before we close?
Just to summarise: A will do X, B will do Y. Anything I've missed?
What's the deadline on that?
I can take that on, but something else will have to slip — which would you prioritise?
My plate's pretty full this week — could we look at timing?
Happy to help, though I'd need to push … back.
避免:直接说 "I'm too busy"。

Short version: we're on track. One risk, one ask.
Where we are: …
What's blocking us: …
What I need from you: …
Heads-up: we've hit a delay. Impact is …. Here's what I propose.
I want to flag something early rather than late.
This is a yellow flag, not a red one.
It's recoverable if we …

own 负责
on my radar 我有在关注
blocker 阻碍项
take it offline 会后单独谈

Hi Marc, hope you're well. → 正文 → Best, Simon
Thanks for the quick turnaround on this.
Apologies for the slow reply.
Following up on my note below.
英语职场催人有一套固定的软化层,直接问 "Have you done it?"
Just checking in on … — no rush if you're heads-down.
Gentle nudge on this one.
Any update when you get a chance?
Is this still on track for Friday?
用 "Would you be able to…"
Would you be able to send over the figures by Thursday?
It would be really helpful if you could …
Could I ask you to …?
Let me know if that's not feasible.
Best, / Best regards, / Kind regards, / Thanks,
Best, —
Kind regards, —
Best regards, —
Thanks, —
Cheers, —
would / could / might · voudrais / pourriez · いただけますか / 주시겠어요
